Great post. I often feel like engineers view asking for help as a sign of weakness, that somehow they are less of an engineer because they can’t fix every problem that they encounter. Of course you don’t went everyone crying for help all the time, so I’m a big fan of the 15 minute rule — you have to spend 15 minutes trying to figure it out yourself, but if you haven’t figured it out after 15 minutes you have to ask for help.
